Vientiane– The ASEAN-Korea Centre will organize the Capacity Building Workshop for Expanding Business Opportunities in E-Commerce on 5 July 2017 in Vientiane, Lao PDR. Jointly organized with the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) of Lao PDR and the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI), the Workshop aims to share Korea’s e-commerce
Kim Young-sun, Secretary General of the ASEAN-Korea Centre noted that, “As more and more businesses are moving away from traditional off-line stores and going on-line, electronic commerce has increasingly become an important parcel of doing cross-border businesses. Lao PDR has a great potential to develop its e-commerce sector, as broadband internet access is widely available in Vientiane and in other parts of the country.
