Grand Unity Development, a leading condominium developer and part of the listed Univentures group of companies, plans for 2018 market expansion in greater Bangkok by utilising areas strategically located right next to the BTS Skytrain network.
The company has also announced a new brand strategy under the concept “Simply Makes Sense”, which is aimed at catering to the changing lifestyle of millennials.
Grand Unity, which is launching four condominium projects this year, is targeting overall sales of Bt10 billion – a 160-per-cent increase from last year.
This year, the developer is ready to compete in the highly competitive property market targeting more middle to high-end customers.
This will be achieved through projects with strategic positioning in greater Bangkok, located alongside Skytrain stations, which it sees as corresponding to the changing lifestyle of new-generation consumers with more purchasing power.
This category of consumers will also have greater choice with a range of options to choose from via Grand Unity’s four projects being launched this year and worth a combined Bt12 billion, the company said on Tuesday.
Grand Unity’s main strategy for the year is relayed through a concept that encourages consumers and investors to “live life …in their own definition of happiness”.
This is done by providing residents with a living space that caters to real living, designed for comfort and convenience in all areas, it said.
Combined with a price that is affordable, customers are ensured of the best value for money at all Grand Unity’s projects, the developer added.
Managing director Siripong Srisawangwong said: “With changing consumer trends, Grand Unity has chosen to position our condos in prime communal areas, conveniently located next to the BTS to provide convenience and easy commuting. We give importance to aesthetics by utilising simplistic designs with great attention to detail, taking into consideration everyday usage.
“At the same time, we choose the best quality materials that are true to value and practical. Most importantly, every condominium project by Grand Unity will have to undertake an EIA [environmental impact assessment] before any presales, in order to comply with environmental laws as well as ensure that the surrounding community will thrive as a happy and prosperous place for our future residents.”
The four new projects in 2018 are the Ciela – located in the Sripatum area; De Lapis – located at Jaransanitwong 81, next to the Chao Phraya River; Denim – located in Chatuchak district; and Mazarine – located in Ratchayothin.
All four are situated right alongside BTS stations in major communal areas of Bangkok.
Apart from an easy commute, Grand Unity also cares about selecting the best environment for residents, for instance around Sripatum University, next to the Chao Phraya and near the popular Chatuchak shopping area, Siripong said.
