The National Housing Authority (NHA) is investing Bt464 million to develop an eight-storey condominium project on Prachanivet 3 in Nonthaburi, located close to the new Pink Line mass-transit route, agency governor Tachaphol Kanjanakul said on Tuesday.
The move follows the Cabinet’s approval of the investment on August 29.
The condominium project comprises 556 units.
The NHA is also negotiating with five property firms to participate as early as possible in the development of residential projects located close to greater Bangkok’s mass-transit system, Tachaphol said.
This is in line with the government’s policy to open up the opportunity for lower-income people to own their own homes, he added.
