Condo project launches containing 17,000 units forecast for greater Bangkok this quarter

New condominium projects launched in Bangkok and its suburbs this quarter will comprise more than 17,000 units by focusing mainly on homes priced above Bt2 million, according to research by LPN Development.



The listed firm’s research also shows that 60 condo projects were launched in the first half, comprising 34,580 units with a combined value of Bt117.67 billion – up 22 per cent and 51 per cent respectively from the same period last year. 

Seventy-three per cent of the first-half launches are being developed by listed property firms, LPN said.
