State enterprises invest heavily in infrastructure

Forty-five state enterprises have invested a total of Bt310.92 billion in the first nine months of this year, up 45 per cent from the same period last year, State Enterprise Policy Office (SEPO) director-general Prapas Kong-led said on Monday.



He added that most of the investment was earmarked for developing the country's infrastructure in projects being implemented by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand, the Provincial Electricity Authority and the Metropolitan Electricity Authority,

SEPO will continue to push all state enterprises to expand their investment to boost economic growth, he added
