EXPORT UNDER PACTS

Thailand’s export under the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and Generalised System Preference (GSP) amounted to US$49.89 billion in the first eight months of this year, up 19.12 per cent from the same period last year, said Adul Chotinisakorn, director general of Foreign Trade Department under the Commerce Ministry.



Export under FTA agreements stood at US$46.72 billion from the total of US$49.89 billion under FTA and GSP in the first eight months of this year, the next US$3.16 billion that export under GSP agreement in the first eight months of this year, he said.

He added that top five market for export under FTA are including Asean, China, Australia, Japan, and India.
