Thailand’s Council of Engineers on Monday completed a four-day training programme with 77 Chinese engineers in the city of Tienjin.

The training forms part of a programme to support Chinese engineers who will be responsible for constructing the first stage of Thai-Chinese high-speed rail project from Bangkok to Nakhon Ratchasima province, said council president Amorn Pimanmas.

The 77 engineers that have been trained are just the first group, with the next batch scheduled to commence training soon, he said.
