The Bank of Thailand’s board yesterday appointed Thongurai Limpiti as deputy governor for financial institutions’ stability, replacing Krirk Vanikku, who retired.
Assistant Governor Charnchai Boonyaritchaisri said Paiboon Kittisrikangwan, assistant governor of the monetary policy group, would fill in for Thongurai as deputy governor of corporate support services and banknote management.
The changes will go into effect on October 1.
CENTRAL GRAND SALE
Central Pattana, Central Department Store, Zen Department Store and Robinson Department Store, together with their partners, will splurge more than Bt350 million on “The Greatest Grand Sale” campaign from June 6 to July 15 to stimulate spending during the midyear season.
This is the first time that all of the group’s shopping centres and department stores nationwide have combined forces for what will be the country’s biggest joint sales campaign ever.
All 53 complexes and their anchor stores and tenants will offer up to 70-per-cent discounts, special promotions and the grand prize of a trip to Italy.
The retail partners hope to raise sales by 20-30 per cent over non-campaign periods.
