The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) has teamed up with Kasikorn Bank (KBank) to enhance the university’s quality of life through a synergy of financial and educational innovations, UTCC’s president Assoc Prof Sauwanee Thairungroj said.
Aimed at achieving Thailand's first comprehensive Digital Hybrid University, with respect to the learning and teaching quality, university administration, knowledge development and improvement of the environment to match modern lifestyles and learning patterns, this collaboration reaffirms the digital technology leadership that has been continually and systematically developed to accommodate more than 20,000 students and staff members, she said.
The bank’s president Kattiya Indaravijaya said that education holds the key to development of a society and a nation. To create readiness for students to learn and reach their full potential is equally important. With its digital expertise and experience in development of K PLUS application which can meet the millennials' lifestyle needs, KBank believes that students will have a newer and more convenient learning experience in an effective study environment. This initiative will mark another milestone for upgrading university quality of life among more than 20,000 UTTC students and personnel in keeping with the digital age.
