Kasikornbank (KBank), reinforcing its status as the No-1 digital-banking service provider, has introduced Pay with K PLUS, which offers a seamless payment experience using Facebook Messenger for the first time in Thailand, president Patchara Samalapa said on Monday.
The service eliminates the need to enter an account number or switch screens when conducting the transaction.
The initiative is in response to the fast-growing social-commerce market in the country, Patchara said.
To promote the service, customers making their first purchase of at least Bt300 via Pay with K PLUS are entitled to Bt100 cashback until September 25.
KBank has set a target of Bt30 billion for transactions via the new service within the first year, the president added.
