The directors of Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Co agreed this week to survey shareholders about increasing the 2017 dividend pay-out ratio from 50 to 60 per cent, including a maximum 40 per cent cash payment.
If a majority of shareholders agrees in writing, the pay-out ratio would be 60 per cent, of which the cash dividend would rise from 30 to 40 per cent.
The survey is designed to facilitate arrangements necessary for the second dividend advanced payment in 2017.
Vietjet will also ask its shareholders about changes to its business lines and headquarters address, now listed as Kim Ma Street in Hanoi.
Shareholders are asked to submit their opinions by December 19.
In mid-August, Vietjet advanced 645 billion dong (US$28.5 million) for a 20-per-cent cash dividend payment of 2017.
It had earlier paid a 40-per-cent bonus share dividend, finalising 2016 cash and bonus share dividend payments at the rate of 119 per cent.
