The Tourism Authority of Thailand recently launched two books, aimed at boosting the attractiveness of Thailand among local travellers.

The launch ceremony was attended by TAT Governor Suraphon Svetasreni and Piyaman Tejabaibun, chairman of Tourism Council of Thailand (TCT).

The first book, titled "Green Recreation", is written by three veteran tourism writers: Sathita Sorassa, Nipon Riabriang, and Suchat Sritama (who had been working for Nation Group for 20 years until January 2012).

The book features 30 selected tourist attractions across the Kingdom. The book is aimed to encourage local people to visit and experience more about the places.

Another book by Sathita, titled “Love and Confidence in Thailand”, is aimed to help rebuild and promote tourist sites in flooded provinces.
