Triumph Motorcycles is expanding its sales network with five new showrooms in Thailand, in an effort to maintain leadership in the local big bikes market.
The new Triumph showrooms are in Lop Buri, Chiang Rai, Pattaya, and Rama V and Vibhavadee in Bangkok, said Chakrapong Santirat, general manager of Triumph Motorcycles (Thailand) Co Ltd.
He said the new showrooms in Lop Buri, Chiang Rai and Rama V are already operational, while the Pattaya showroom will be opened this month and the Vibhavadee showroom is scheduled to open in December.
With the new showrooms, Triumph will have 14 sales outlets in the country. The British marque has a 48-per-cent share in the big bikes market and is the market leader.
