Volvo is hoping to boost sales in Thailand with the launch of the new XC60 crossover, priced from Bt3.09 million for the diesel version to Bt3.29 and Bt3.59 million for the two hybrid versions.
Customers placing orders for the XC60 during the introductory period ending December 11 will get a five-year Volvo Premium Service Package, the Swedish carmaker said. It includes a five-year/150,000km warranty, five-year/100,000km free maintenance and five years emergency service.
Apart from the usual City Safety feature that automatically stops the vehicle if there is an avoidable obstacle, a new steer assist function carries an avoidance manoeuvre at speeds between 50kph and 100kph.
The XC60 also comes with pilot assist, which is the first stage of autonomous driving.
