Isuzu expands vehicle line-up in Laos and Cambodia

Due to double-digit growth in Cambodia and Laos, Japanese commercial vehicle giant Isuzu had decided to expand its product line-up with the launch of the new Mu-X pickup passenger vehicle.




Isuzu sales in Cambodia surged by 90 per cent this year, while in Laos, sales grew by 47.5 per cent. This was due to improvement in sales and after-sales services, as well as the marketing model borrowed from Thailand, said Panatda Chennavasin, vice president of Tripetch Isuzu Sales Co.

Panatda said Isuzu would concentrate on digital marketing for the new model, and plans to raise Isuzu’s market share in both countries by 10 per cent within three years and 30 per cent within five years.
