Daimler Insurance Services has announced a partnership with three leading car insurance companies in Thailand - Viriyah Insurance, Southeast Insurance and Tokio Marine Insurance Thailand.
The move reinforces Mercedes-Benz’s protection insurance program to give its valued customers “peace of mind” by providing “superior cover throughout their journeys”, saisd Dr Ingo Telschow, CEO of Daimler Insurance Services.
He added that Daimler offers reliable protection - not only through safe vehicles, but also by procurement of attractive insurance products.
He said every customer needs a Motor Insurance, so Daimler aims to provide a compelling offering that includes comprehensive coverage while committing to ensuring that damaged vehicles are repaired in line with Daimler’s quality standards.
He said Mercedes-Benz protection offers flexible protection plans to suit individual lifestyles.
He said by focusing on customers’ needs, the program is committed to ensuring genuine spare parts supplied through the nationwide network of Mercedes-Benz’s authorised dealers.
The driver, passengers and third parties are protected if there is an accident, Telschow said.
That includes a sum insured of up to 100 per cent of the car price, with 100 per cent tire and rim coverage.
He said the program also offers up to 20 days use of a Mercedes-Benz courtesy car per year in case servicing of the insured car takes longer than 48 hours, or when the insured car suffers a serious accident.
Customers can choose among three available protection plans: standard protection, extended protection and advanced protection.
