THE FIRST round of the annual Thailand Car of the Year has started. Almost 300 members will send their selections from December 20 to January 20, 2017.
The first round scores, with members picking five out of 10 cars that are eligible for this year’s award, make up 20 per cent of the total score tally, and are submitted online.
All 10 vehicles will be tested once again in the final round, making up the remaining 80 per cent of the total score.
New models (model change) officially launched from October 1 last year to September 30 this year qualify for the award. The include the Mazda CX-3, MG5, BMW 7 Series, Honda BR-V, TR Transformer 2, Honda Civic, MG GS, BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLC and Mercedes-Benz GLE.Last year, Ford Everest PPV took the honours.
