Traders' stand to be announced next week
The Thai Chamber of Commerce plans to announce their stand on the amnesty bill next week, pending for responses from provincial members.
Isara Vongkusolkit, chairman of the chamber, said the a letter was dispatched to 77 provincial chambers, asking for their opinions on the issue.
The chamber will then announce the collective stand next week.
He said most members urge a peaceful solution as violence and spillover effects would hurt the business sentiment.
