Subaru has received more than 1,000 orders for its XV crossover, and hopes to achieve the 3,000-vehicle sales target this year.

Apichai Thamsirarak, general manager of distributor TC Subaru (Thailand), said the XV has been on sale since December.
“Deliveries to customers began in February and we have already delivered 400 vehicles,” he said, adding that Subaru has 14 showrooms and service centres. This number will be increased to 20.
The XV, priced at Bt1.35 million, is powered by a 2.0-litre horizontally opposed engine and features Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive system.
