Special promotions to boost Q2 sales

Listed property developers have launched special promotions to boost sales in the current quarter, after first-quarter presales fell by more than 40 per cent from the same period last year.

For example, Sena Development requires customers to pay just Bt999 to book a home in any of its projects through to the end of next month. 
The company targets sales worth Bt400 million from around 300 units during the campaign.
“We launched the campaign when our sales dropped by up to 60 per cent [year on year] in the first quarter,” said director Kessara Thanyalakpark.
Property Perfect, meanwhile, has launched the “Perfect Living” promotion, in which it offers a zero interest rate for the first year for customers buying a unit in any of its 14 ready-to-stay residential projects.
The promotional period runs until the end of June and is expected to boost the company’s second-quarter presales to Bt4 billion, after it recorded just Bt2.7 billion worth of presales in the first three months of the year – some 20 per cent lower than the estimated level.
LPN Development’s “Lumpini Big Shock” campaign applies to its six ready-to-stay condominium projects and offers monthly instalment repayments of only Bt2,500 for the first 25 months, once a bank has approved a customer’s mortgage application. 
The developer targets sales of at least Bt1 billion from the campaign, which commences on May 25. 
The projects covered are: Lumpini Mega City Bang Na, Lumpini Ville Ramkhamhaeng 60/2, Lumpini Ville Prachachun-Pong Pet 2, Lumpini Condo Town Ram Indra-Lat Phrao Kro 2, Lumpini Condo Town Chon Buri-Sukhumvit, and Lumpini Ville Na Klew-Wong Amart.
Ananda Development, another listed developer, has launched the “Ananda Mid Year Sale” for its seven Atol-brand residential projects. 
Discounts of up to 100,000 per unit are on offer, as well as free transfer, contract and booking fees. The campaign runs from May 24 to June 25.
Lalin Property has introduced the “Lalin Fair 2014” promotional campaign, in which it offers free booking and contract fees for customers who reserve units at any of its 30 residential projects this weekend.
