The stickers consist of 8 unique stickers featuring LINE Friends characters and it is part of the partnership's efforts to raise awareness and support to help the world's most vulnerable children.
The funds will contribute to Unicef’s global programmes to provide healthcare, immunization, clean water, nutrition, protection, education and emergency relief where it is most needed, the Japan-based company said in a statement.
The sticker set is available at the LINE Sticker Shop in Korea, Japan, the United States, France, Germany, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Spain, India and Hong Kong until August 5. LINE users need to add Unicef Official Account.
Under strategic partnership deal announced in February, both agreed to raise funds through LINE stickers and character licensing. LINE also enables people to donate with its "Free Coins". These are virtual coins which users can earn by watching a specific video or downloading an app.
