Slow growth in ad spending
Thailand's ad spending grew only 0.88 per cent on year to Bt75.7 billion in the first eight months of this year, according to Nielsen (Thailand).
Of total, ad spending on television accounted for Bt46 billion, representing the growth rate of 2.15 per cent.
In August alone, ad spending was down 1.89 per cent on year to Bt10.12 billion. Televisionâ€™s share was down 1.04 per cent to Bt6.1 billion.
