SCB extends loan to SPP5
Siam Commercial Bank has extended a Bt830 million facility for the development of SPP5's solar powe project in Roi Et.
To Kittiphun Anutarasoti, SCB’s First Executive Vice President, Corporate Banking Division, this latest transaction affirms the bank’s commitment as a total-solution provider to Electricity Generating (Egco) and SunEdison Group under its universal banking platform and its continuing focus in renewable energy.
SCB views renewable energy segment as one of its strategic focus areas, he said.
SCB is the financial advisor for Egco’s acquisition of four solar power plants from SunEdison Group.
