Relief for hailstorm-damaged community

Representing the Green Roof Project for Princess Pa Foundation - a social collaboration of the Princess Pa Foundation, Thai Red Cross Society, Tetra Pak (Thailand) and Big C Supercenter - Gloyta Nathalang (fifth right, back row), communications Director of Tetra Pak (Thailand), and Voradej Krityakiarana (fourth left, back row), senior division manager for CSR of Big C Supercenter, recently led a follow-up visit to Ban Sa-laeng Village in Chiang Rang sub-district, Phu Sang sistrict, Phayao province.

A community hit by a hailstorm early last year, the village was the recipient of 1,500 green roof sheets as disaster relief provided by the Green Roof Project for repair of public buildings such as schools, temples and multipurpose community buildings.

The onsite observation trip also brought a group of Green Roof volunteers to campaign for collection of used beverage cartons among students, teachers and villagers. They were warmly received by Chuchart Keelapang (fifth left, back row), governor of Phayao, Singkum Chiangrang (third left, back row), chief executive of Chiang Rang Sub-district Administration Organisation, and senior officers in relevant government units.
