PTT to raise LPG imports
PTT is prepared to import additional 40,000 tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), as a gas separation plant in Rayong is shut down for maintenance.
Lightning struck the plant in the night of August 14.
Initially, the maintenance is expected to take 3-5 months, said President and CEO Pailin Chuchottaworn.
He assured that during the period, the supply of LPG or cooking gas would not be disrupted. PTT has already sought an approval for the additional import of 40,000 tonnes of LPG, he said.
