Nu Skin mobilises "Force for Good" project
Getting united and working together is always better for it brings greater forces to solve problems. That's the thought behind Nu Skin Enterprise (Thailand), the Thai Red Cross Society and the Provincial Red Cross Chapter of Ayutthaya as they join in a "Force for Good" campaign where Nu Skin and its employees are setting out to repair ten flooded schools in the area.
Led by its president ,Pakapun Leevuthinun, over 50 staff and distributors launched the mission to create a teaching environment outside the classroom at Wat Tam Mai School, one of the institutions damaged by the floods. They created wall painting sand pillars to be used as new teaching materials. CSR activity in the Force For Good project intends to repair and revitalise the ten schools - with a budget of Bt3 million baht by giving Bt300,000 per school to help them carry on their work immediately.
Nu Skin and the Ayutthaya Red Cross Society also donated VitaMeal rice, fortified with 25 essential vitamins and minerals, to encourage physical growth of children and boost their immunity. In addition to the donation, 30,185 bags of VitaMeal rice have been distributed to nine schools in Ayutthaya, including Wat Tam Mai School.
