Over 200 passengers of Nok Air remain at the Nan Airport as of 7pm, as the airline spent hours fixing its aircraft on Sunday.
About 100 passengers of the 10am flight to Bangkok just boarded the plane in the evening, according a reporter of The Nation who is among the remaining passengers.
She was informed that for the remaining passengers, the plane's fan switch is being fixed. It remains unknown when the plane would be ready to fly to Bangkok.
Atip Bichanond, managing director of Supalai, was among the remaining passengers. He said that to assure passengers of flying safety, Nok Air's ground officers should also board the flight.
The low-cost airline operates three daily flights to Nan.
