MAJOR content provider Mono Technology has targeted Bt5 billion in revenue in 2016, of which 50 per cent will be contributed by its digital TV channel operator Mono Broadcast, said Pete Bodharamik, chairman of Mono Technology.

Mono Technology has recently increased the registered capital of Mono Broadcast to Bt500 million in order to invest in content and production and operation of Mono Broadcast’s Mono 29 digital TV channel, he said.

The company has capitalised on its integrated content platforms, including websites, Internet services, satellite television, and magazines to secure advertising revenue.

Mono Technology claimed that it had 7 million page views per day and 700,000 unique visitors on its M Thai content website.

Mono 29 will officially launch its channel today under with 70 per cent of its content entertainment and 80 per cent of the total programmes foreign content.
