Millennium sees Mini sales record
Millennium Auto recently set a national sales milestone by selling 550 Mini vehicles in 2012 - a 30-per-cent growth compared to Mini sales in 2011.
The Mini authorised dealer in Thailand increased sales by 163 vehicles or 30 per cent when compared to 2011 figures.
Millennium Auto general manager Sompraj Bosuwan said the Mini Countryman S was the best-selling model in 2012, followed by the Cooper S and Cooper models. "Millennium Auto's sales performance last year was the best over the last decade. Our 'hot model' was the popular Mini Countryman S, which saw customer demand grow to about 120 vehicles last year."
Mini's annual sales from 2009 to 2012 was 433 vehicles - 407, 387 and 550, respectively.
"Adding fuel to Millennium Auto's growth momentum will be a brand new state-of-the-art Mini showroom on Rama IV, to be completed by 2013. Millennium Auto's current Mini showroom at Ekamai once earned the status as one of the world's largest Mini showrooms before other Mini showrooms in Europe surpassed Millennium Auto's Mini showroom facility in Thailand," he said.
