Mazda CX-5 on show
Mazda will display a prototype of the CX-5 crossover at the upcoming Bangkok International Motor Show, to be held from March 27 to April 7 at Muangthong Thani.
Mazda Sales (Thailand) managing director Choichi Yuki said the company will also adopt a new booth design at the show.
He said the new booth will reflect Mazda's "Zoom-Zoom" concept and clearly deliver the true Mazda identity, presenting visitors with a new experience.
"The CX-5 is the first Mazda model to features Mazda's expressive 'KODO' design language first applied in the Mazda Shinari concept car. The Mazda CX-5 has been taking over the global market with its outstanding design as well as eco-friendliness, and Mazda is now ready to launch it in Thailand later this year," he revealed.
The CX-5 is based on the Mazda Minagi concept that was displayed at last year's Bangkok Motor Show. The Minagi features the 'KODO: Soul of Motion' design language that expresses movement with forceful vitality and speed as the design theme for Mazda's upcoming models.
