Market volatility foreseen after today's rise

Volatility in the stock market should continue tomorrow, despite the positive rise today, said Capital Nomura Securities.



 
Chai Chirasevenupraphand, its chief strategist, said that political uncertainties would put pressure on the market sentiment. He expects the SET index to move in the range of 1,280-1,300 points tomorrow.
The composite index gained 18.53 points or 1.45 per cent, to end the day at 1,292.81 points. Turnover remained as thin as Bt25.8 billion.
Foreign investors remained net-sellers of Thai shares, with sell outpacing purchase by Bt3 billion. In January, foreign net-sell position hit Bt13.67 billion.
