The annual maintenance of the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Development Area is completed today, two days ahead of schedule, according to the announcement by PTT.
PTT is an operator in the area.
The maintenance started on July 13 for completion on July 10.
Chakree Buranakanon, senior executive vice president of PTT, said that natural gas transmission started at 3.35am and the Chana power plant started its generator at 5am.
"There was no problem during the maintenance period, thanks to supports from all parties" he said.
About 420 million cubic feet per day of natural gas was cut off during the period.
