With its certificate, Thai AirAsia X may now apply for flight operations permission as well as flight schedulesThe airline is poised to officially announce its Bangkok-based flight schedule immediately after securing permission.
Malaysia-based AirAsia X appointed Nadda as the first CEO of the Thai entity in acknowledgement of his more than 20 years of experience in administrating the international affairs of global organisationsHis most recent post was as managing director of Warner Music (Thailand).

Nadda said his most important challenge at present was assembling the Thai AirAsia X teamHe added that he felt sure that with his experience in administration, as well as creative thinking, he could establish Thai AirAsia X as an attractive and valuable choice for all travellers.
In its first year, Thai AirAsia X has secured contracts for two Airbus A330-300 aircraft from AirAsia X to commence service from Don Mueang International Airport.
Thai AirAsia X’s Airbus A330-300s sport 365 economy-class seats and 12 business-class seats.
The airline is also the first low-fare carrier to introduce Premium flatbed seats, which stretch out to 77 inches (195 centimetres) in full-recline position.
The Premium flatbeds feature universal power sockets, adjustable headrests, a reading light and privacy screens.
Premium-seat guests also enjoy premium complimentary products and services, including Pick A Seat, Priority Check-in, Priority Boarding, Priority Baggage, 20-kilograms baggage allowance, complimentary hot meal, and pillow and duvet.
