Foreigners dump Thai shares

Though the Stock Exchange of Thailand index gained 0.70 per cent to 1,383.89 points today, the Thai maket has apparently lost its attractiveness among foreign investors.

Foreign investors remained net-sellers, with net-sell position at Bt5.92 billion.

In two days, their net-sell is worth over Bt12 billion, pushing year-to-date net-sell to Bt165.6 billion.

More sell is expected, with weak economic data, the tapering in the US and political protests at home.
