Forecast of trends for digital marketing 2015

Social media and mobile phones will be main factors driving these trends, the company said.
It said digital marketing trends would include the Internet of Things, the mobile wallet, digital streaming, and beacon technology. 
The key digital marketing channels for 2015 would be Google, Facebook, YouTube, and Line.

He said mobile phones were a game changer for digital marketing. 
According to Digital Advertising Association (Thailand), there are 26 million Internet users in the country, while there are 96 millions mobile-phone subscriptions (144 per cent of the population). 
According to market research firm TNS and Google, around 80 per cent of all smartphone users in Thailand are online daily. And based on the sharing-economy trend, there will be a lot of new services designed and developed to address fragmented customer needs. 
Current examples of sharing economy include DogVacay, an online community with vetted and insured dog sitters, and Uber, a service that allows people to book a taxi or private car or share a ride via a smartphone.
Other examples include Airbnb, a trusted community marketplace where accommodation around the world can be booked online.
Burin Kledmanee, chief operating officer of, said Google’s search-engine marketing was still the key tool for digital marketing, especially via the mobile. 
“Currently, around 50 per cent of total searches are done via mobile devices,” he said. 
“Therefore, Google AdWords on the mobile search is important. Mobile extension and location extension are the key features to help get customers to make a call and to get directions to your business.”
He said businesses could now do programmatic advertising across platforms that included Google, Facebook, YouTube, and Line.
