Floods force temporary shutdown of 7 factories
Seven factories in 4 provinces - Nakhon Nayok, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani - temporarily shut down because of floods, according to the Labour Ministry.
The shutdown affects 193 workers.
Floods also disrupt the operations of 431 factories across the country, which employ 6,726 workers. Though the factories are not inundated, they are surrounded by flood or their workers’ houses are flooded.
