First telecom infrastructure fund on SET

THE STOCK Exchange of Thailand today lists the Bt58.08 billion True Telecommunications Growth Infrastructure Fund on its main board under the ticker symbol "TRUEIF" as the first telecom infrastructure fund and the third infrastructure fund to list this year.

Chanitr Charnchainarong, SET executive vice president, said yesterday that TRUEIF would be trading in the Information and Communication Technology sector. It sold 5,808 million units via an initial public offering (IPO) at Bt10 per unit from December 9-19.

Siam Commercial Bank is the financial adviser and SCB Asset Management Co is the management company.

TRUEIF has a dividend policy and refund to unit holders as stated in the prospectus. The fund's dividend policy is to pay at least twice a year - if the fund has sufficient retained earnings - of at least 90 per cent of adjusted net profit. The fund's top three unit holders after its IPO are True at 33.24 per cent, Siam Commercial Bank at 9.04 per cent and Beyond Advanced at 6.03 per cent.
