Finance/banking course at Nation U
On March 30, Nation University is hosting with its partner Siam Commercial Bank an open house at its Bang Na campus for their new finance and banking programme aimed at giving students a chance to learn from real work situations and professionals from SCB.
Torboon Puangmaha, President of Digital Media, and the dean of Business Administration Faculty, said yesterday that next semester, bankers from SCB would give lectures at Nation U.Students would also gain on-the-job training at SCB branches from their first to final year on the programme.
The faculty also offers minors in digital television and digital advertising, which are much sought after credentials in the labour market, ensuring immediate employment and career advancement.
The Open House session will feature a discussion on "The Top Modern Business Executives" with many leading businessmen as speakers, including Watcharamongkon Benjathanachart, chairman of Bathroom Design Co;
Worawat Suvagondha, first executive vice president and head of human resources strategy and development at SCB, Nathawut Paopreecha, CEO of Joe-Ry Family Co Ltd,maker of Wel-B food products, Chaluck Chivakasemsuk, Managing Director,
Kaiserin Co Ltd, an importer of luxury watches. Also on March 30, there is an event, Junior Investor, at which Sirikul Nui Laukaikul, CEO of The Brandbeing Consultant Co Ltd, and Sasaphon Shoowong, Training & Development Manager, Siam Commercial Bank for personal banking, will give advice on career development and brand building.
