Concrete firm targets Bt3 bn revenue
Chonburi Concrete Product (CCP) has targeted revenue of Bt3 billion this year, up by 15-20 per cent from 2012, and will focus on sales of pre-cast products.
Managing director Artit Theepakornsukkasame said the company would improve its logistics system to boost efficiency of product delivery and reduce transport costs.
CCP has a backlog of Bt2 billion, half of which is for the state sector. The company is ready to pitch for state and private projects this year.
The company expects continued growth of the concrete market this year thanks to the boom in construction by the state and private sectors, such as the Greater Bangkok mass-transit system and other infrastructure as well as real-estate projects.
Large-scale construction is no longer concentrated in Bangkok but is also in the provinces, especially in the Eastern region, where many projects are cropping up.
