Sunsilk, a haircare brand from Unilever Thai Trading, has announced its biggest-ever end-of-the-year campaign, called "Pink Trip by Sunsilk".
The theme of the campaign is that with voluminous and manageable hair, “women are ready to set off on a trip to search for their own bright world”.
To stimulate the Thai haircare segment during the end of the year, Sunsilk is delivering on three fronts: the launch of Pink Trip by Sunsilk activation, with women welcome to play an online game to vie for a free trip for the winners and up to 11 of their friends, who will take an exclusive chartered flight with Sunsilk Pink; the introduction of two new presenters – Bella Ranee Campen and Preem Ranida Techasit; and the roll-out of a new online series that was shot in Kenya and Australia.
Wannipa Bhakdibutra, vice president for health and beauty aids at Unilever Thai Trading, said: “The Thai haircare market is valued at Bt12 billion and the segment grew 6 per cent during the first half of 2013. Sunsilk is the No 1 brand in the shampoo and post-wash sectors and has taken the lead in driving 4-per-cent growth in the post-wash sector, particularly in the hair-conditioner and leave-on categories.
“To finish up the year, we have kicked off the innovative Pink Trip by Sunsilk campaign and announced Bella Ranee Campen and Preem Ranida Techasit, two new and rising stars from the popular TV series ‘Juthathep Gentlemen’, as new presenters for Sunsilk, as they represent modern and optimistic Sunsilk women with confidence and spirit.”
To reinforce the campaign’s concept of travelling in a “pink” world, Sunsilk produced a new six-part online series called “Pink Trip by Sunsilk”. It features travel in the pink world of the two presenters, Bella and Preem, and inspirational ideas for Sunsilk women to look for their own pink worlds.

To add to the fun, Sunsilk is offering an exclusive trip for fans who want to travel and open up their pink world like the two presenters. The “Join Pink Trip with Sunsilk” activation will offer a free trip between Bangkok and Krabi on a chartered flight, plus accommodation for the winners and 11 of their friends.
There are 13 prizes valued at Bt1.6 million, with each consisting of the flight to Krabi and accommodation for 12 people. It is easy to win by viewing the Pink Trip by Sunsilk series, playing the boarding-pass game at the end of the series, and then entering your name plus the names of 11 friends you would take on the free trip. The activation runs from today until January 16, and the lucky draw will take place on January 17. The winners will then be announced on January 20.
