Bank of Ayudhya's 37-storey office building on Ploenchit Road will be renovated as a green building with a modern and attractive design in harmony with the development of the surrounding area.

“What will make the building more special is its environmentally-friendly concept and prime location in the Ploenchit-Wireless corner, a new premium centre of economy, commerce, financial hub, residence and shopping in the near future,” CEO Noriaki Goto said yesterday.
Work will commence in the middle of next year with completion by the end of 2017.
The building will minimise its impact on the natural environment by efficiently using energy, water and other resources while reducing waste and pollution. A larger water retention area will help minimise the impact from flooding in the area, Wanna Thamsirisup, head of operations, said yesterday.
Noriaki said the bank is positioned to be a leading financial group in both Thailand and the Mekong region. Its investment in a new premium office building will accommodate the bank’s mission and expansion for the future.
Bank of Ayudhya Plc, or Krungsri, and its subsidiaries is the fifth-largest financial group in Thailand, with 69 years of history in the country. Krungsri is a strategic member of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Japan’s largest financial group and one of the world’s largest financial groups.
