BAM opens first real estate cafe
As part of its plan to deepen its "relationships" with its clients, Bangkok Commercial Asset Management (BAM) has opened its first Real Estate Cafe branch in Bangkok.
The new branch, located on the fourth floor of CentralPlaza Chaeng Wattana, combines BAM's signature yellow-and-blue colour scheme with welcoming natural wood decor. The café is notable for its large spaces, convenience and friendly atmosphere, said the company's senior executive vice president, Sumate Maneewattana. He added that new-look branch was intended to serve as a place where BAM could develop relationships with clients, which is in line with the firm's plan to achieve sales of Bt11.9 billion this year.An average of between 10 and 20 customers visit the branch every day.Kosin Samrongthong, am executive at Secret Agent Service Co, which designed the branch, said his firm kept in mind at all times that BAM is a service business. The company's yellow-and-blue colour scheme is preserved, with yellow as the main colour, with lines and curving features done in blue. Many of these features are made from wood, the main raw material used to decorate the branch. The interior design is also intended to be functional, Kosin said. In the Real Estate Cafe section, coffee is served and space is provided for customers to relax. A second section has a counter where customers can find information and purchase assets. There is also an exhibition space and a meeting room. To create a feeling of space and a friendly atmosphere, the designer also used warm lighting. The branch will serve as a model for the next two branches, which will open this year at Seacon Square and Central Rama 2, Sumate said.
