12 individuals fined for insider trading and share manipulation

The Securities and Exchange Commission has collected about Bt20 million of fines from individuals involved in insider trading and share manipulation.



In its statements, the Settlement Committee imposed a fine of Bt500,000 on Sumit Chanmatee, for using inside inforamtion to purchase Rayong Purifier (RPC).

The committee also imposed a total fine of Bt11.96 million on 11 individuals for manipulting the share price of Millcon Steel (MILL).

They are (1) Tanika Tangpoonphonvivat, (2) Therasak Tangpoonphonvivat, (3) Preechaya Teekasurat (former surname: Wongpaitoonpiya), (4) Supon Boonsong, (5) Sarawut Leelasoanchai, (6) Natthaya Chokudomnirun, (7) Nonthasorn Dantrakul, (8) Samart Chittipatanakulchai, (9) Tuangwut Phanyadilok, (10) Ruangrapee Chakitdee, and (11) Anoma Eiamraksawong.
