Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat announced on TV Wednesday night that he will neither resign or dissolve the House.

He said he will convene an urgent Cabinet meeting Thursday to find measures to control the situation after the People's Alliance for Democracy had seized airports and government offices.

Somchai also called on security officials to carry out their duty to bring wrongdoers to justice and restore normality to the country.
