Former Labour Department boss and Cabinet minister Wichit Saengthong has pleaded not guilty to several labour-law offences, including participating in job-seeking scams that conned 200 workers of more than Bt3 million.

He was apprehended at a parking area in the Criminal Court compound Thursday. There were three court warrants for his arrest.
