Samak says Parliament already conducted public hearings on casinos
Prime Minister
Samak Sundaravej said Friday that his government could go ahead legalising casinos because a parliamentary panel had already conducted public hearings on the issue.
Responding to a reporter's question whether the government would conduct public hearings on the issue, Samak said he had informed the public during his Samak's Talk programme that Parliament had already conduct public hearings on casino legalising.
He said if the government decided to go ahead, it would use the results of the hearings by Parliament.
