A poisoning mum dies

A Bangkok woman who poisoned her three-year-old daughter and tried to kill herself died Wednesday.

Benjawan Saelee, 31, was announced dead at 5am at a hospital.

Police said Benjawan had laced disinfectant in her own daughter's milk on Monday night and then laid beside the body of her daughter until early Tuesday morning.

She then drank the disinfectant too. But her younger sister found out what happened and rushed her to the hospital.

It was reported that Benjawan was suffering from stress after she noticed a growing lump in her arm.
