Thai share prices closed flat on Tuesday as investors traded with caution ahead of a landmark court ruling on the fate of the kingdom's two main political parties, dealers said.

They said domestic investors also stayed on the sidelines due to a lack of fresh leads.

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index slipped 0.14 points to 727.79 while the blue-chip SET 50 index lost 0.33 to 515.76.
