The government on Tuesday launched a new measure to revive the property sector which was hurt by depressed consumers’ sentiment amid post-coup political concerns.
Under the revised scheme, the maximum amount homebuyers can claim back on a flat tax rebate will double to Bt100,000 per buyer, Finance Minister Chalongphob Sussangkarn said.
The measure should help stimulate consumers’ demand in the property sector and boost the Thai economy, Chalongphob said.
