Southern people urged to watch out against school arsons

The 4th Region's Internal Security Operations Command has been seeking cooperation from local people in the southern border provinces to watch out against arson attacks against schools.

Maj Gen Kasikorn Khrisisri, said the 4th Region's ISOC, has been distributing letters from helicopters to residents of the provinces two times a week to urge them to inform authorities if they learn that the insurgents would set fire to schools.

Kasikorn said the letters urged the local residents to realize that the arson attacks were tantamount to hurting their own children.
